Any recommendations for headphones that are big enough to go around the ear and not squish the ears? In the old days all headphones did this now they all seem to be made for tiny ears.
Noise canceling would be a plus!

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but you might check out Remote Audio RN-7506 headphones. They use the same drivers at the Sony 7506 headphones, but cover the ear completely and cancel all noise. BTW: I have not used these myself.

The Sound Devices are the top of the line for total sound isolation. They're way better than any noise cancelling cans too. The Sony 7509 are better than the 7506 in that they wrap around your ear better and I think have better drivers. They're obviously more, but you should take a listen to both if you go with Sony.

Hope that helps!

Hello Frank and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum

Try the ATH-M50 from Audio-Technica. Large but not unwieldy.

I still have two pair of MDR7506, but also have four new pair of ATH-M50.

Regards,

Ty Ford
