sennheiser ev100 wireless mics not talking to my sony z1u

hi-- i have sennheiser ew100 wireless mics that i've used with my z1u and they've worked fine TILL i had to change some settings to deal with NYC rf.

now the mics work - i see af levels and when i listen to the sound on the transmitter, it sounds fine. BUT, the levels on my z1u are coming in very very low, almost inaudibly. so i've concluded the problem is not with the mics alone but there is some problem with how the mic is "talking" to the camera...

i have checked the obvious--
* volume control is between 5-10
* XLR input is set to MIC not LINE
* have checked with other XLR cables, so it's not the wire

any ideas? i'd be most appreciative...i have a shoot tomorrow!

Hello Sybil and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

Sounds like you're on the right track.

There's an output gain control in the menu of the receiver. Maybe it got changed?
