Parts of the recording ie the service and speeches have unwanted audio which i would like to remove if possible. Can anyone advise if this is possible and if so what software can i use.My camcorder is panasonic hdcsd1 and has 5.1 surround sound. It may be possible to do what you wish, but it is very complex and time consuming. Google Cedar Tools Retouch.

I think most of us have been futilely looking for the "Baby Filter" since we first started "live" recording.

I think Izotope's new RX software works pretty well for this sort of thing - the baby, bizzarely, would probably be easier to remove than the general hubub....

Check out http://www.izotope.com
