Using radio mics in Spain
on Dec 14, 2006 at 3:51:36 pm

Hi folks,
I'm going to be doing some filming in Spain in the coming year and wanted to get some advice on using radio mics over there. Could someone fill me in on the basics? Will US radio mics work over there? Do they use different channels? What are the restrictions if any (radio license required etc.) ? Do I need to buy or rent a new set of european spec. mics for this?
Any information gratefully received.

Thanks,

Paul

You should definitely do your homework. Frequencies that are usable in the US MAY be illegal in Spain. Check with Lectrosonics and Sennheiser for charts in Spain.
