Bassy Echo

Good day all,

I am working on a project that was filmed in an office, and the recording sounds like it was made at the bottom of a deep well. I am working with Pro Tools LE 7.1, any way to get rid of the echo or at least part of it? I mean it sounds horrible!!

Almost sounds like a polarity cancellation issue. Are you listening to one track or several combined to mono?

Well I am listening to all 4 tracks (2 camera shoot) together, but unfortunately I have also listened to them one by one solo. The studio sound tech is somewhat of an amateur and I am paying the price. I appreciate any help you can give me.

cheers.

There's no way to remove echo - unless you're the NSA :). However, you mentioned it's bassy. Try applying some eq to reduce the the low end and see if that helps.
