How-to change source scaling on a clip by clip basis before rendering?
on Mar 2, 2017 at 10:59:25 am

Hi!

I am working on a little video project where I have video clips in two different resolutions. Some are in 3440x1440 and others in 2560x1440. I want to render it all into the 2560x1440 resolution and when I am trying to render it, in the export settings if I choose "Source Scaling: Stretch To Fill" the 3440x1440 clips look nice but the 2560x1440 has black bars on the sides. Those 2560 clips would benefit from having the source scaling set at "Scale To Fill" but that messes up the 3440 ones.

You get the problem ☺

I was wondering if there was any way to select different source scalings for each clip so that the finished product would look nice and coherent in the 2560x1440 res. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for any help :)

Get one clip scaled the way you want it. Use the scale sliders. Copy. Select the other clips that need the same work. Paste Attributes.
