Im looking for a proxy transcode workflow that would work best universally across all camera file types in Premiere Pro CC with out causing hiccups when ingesting or linking back to the Raw
For example I just made ProRes 422 3840 × 2160 Proxy files however when I tried to link to the Raw in PPro we were getting issues due to some of the raw camera files carrying 5 channels of audio and some carrying none. Even when I made the Proxy transcodes with 5 channels of audio the hiccup still occurred on the clips with none.
Here it seems as if a Match Source option on the audio would be ideal. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for one Proxy transcode that works across the board and can be our workflow moving forward.
