Problem with automation.
on Oct 1, 2016 at 8:52:33 am

Hi all.
Good to be here.
I am looking for an answer if it is possible:
I have a template in Premier that consists of some text, clips and audio. No scripts just simple template.

I need to create a batch of videos around 3000 of them for an excommerce site. Each video would have the same template but the content would different. Meaning the texts, audio and video files. The question is can I somehow make that process automated? Meaning can Premier or maybe Aftereffects grab external files automatically and replace them in the correct place in my template?

I hope that makes sense.
Any suggestions will be more then welcome.

Thank you

Hey Julian....

you're going to want to translate the template into AE.

Depending on the complexity of what your template consists of...this shouldn't be to bad...

Once you have it in AE and it's looking good....

you have a couple of choices:

comps from spreadsheet:

Templater comes in several levels and can get VERY sophisticated.

But you definitely want to get the project to After Effects.

This is KEY to do what you want...
