Whenever I export a sequence with Premiere, the entire application freezes for about a minute (longer videos mean a longer freeze), until the 'export settings' window eventually shows up, after which I can then continue exporting normally.
I always export to MP4, however I noticed that if I change the export settings to AVI then there's no freeze at all in future exports. Could there be a reason why my Premiere freezes for MP4 exports but not AVI? My raw video files are all MP4 (50fps), and when I create a project I always drag the videos into a blank timeline to create a sequence.
Any suggestions on what's causing Premiere to freeze? I'm afraid I don't know much about video export settings.
