Tips for making footage look deliberately low quality?
on Oct 3, 2018 at 9:12:40 pm

I've got some 4K footage that I want to make look and sound like a low-quality Facebook livestream. Does anyone have any tips or links to effects packages that can help sell the illusion?

Thanks!

You could maybe export as H.264 at SD resolution and a low bit rate to purposely degrade it, then edit using that new low-quality clip.

Nest it within a lower-framerate timeline, reduce that timeline's size to a lower resolution, and then scale up the nested sequence within your final timeline.
