Hello everyone!

Ok so this is simple, I've been shooting a tutorial series for Youtube about creating and setting up a Twitch channel.
Now, I have an intro, and an ending, that will stay the same throughout the entire series.

I'm wondering what's the best way to like, automate as much of that as I can so as to only having to edit the content, and always having the intro and ending stay consistent.
I've noticed there's no "save as template" option in Premiere Pro. I'm guessing there's some way to do it though?
Thank you very much for any help!

There's nothing easier than exporting the open and the close as two separate files.

Re-import them, and voila! They're just two clips in your edit. Two no-brainer edits to make as you begin and end your edit. What could be simpler?

Hmm. Maybe saving the project with the intro and ending and a "hole" in between, then when I do them, I open that one, "Save As" and then just do the edit in between? (I have a fixed duration too)

Hmmmmmm

Actually I think your way is easier. Thank you Dave! You da man.

You get more flexibility with open/close clips.

Sure as shootin', the times on those edits will vary a bit. Maybe not by much, but enough so that leaving a hole in a timeline will be more trouble than it's worth.

I think the best approach is a hybrid of both your ideas. Put your bars, tone, slate, and open in a timeline, and save that as a project labeled “Open Template.” Open the template, do as Save As calling that copy “episode x,” then edit that show to length, and insert your saved ending at the tail.

While Dave is correct that putting both the open and close in the saved template would be more trouble than it’s worth, saving your open as a template will be bulletproof and will provide consistency from show number one throughout the series.
