I was editing a 9 camera concert. I rendered the sequence and walked away. Came back and all my edits switched over to one camera. Every camera edit I made is now switched to Camera 4?? Not sure if i clicked on something by mistake?
I was able to recover an older sequence in the Auto save folder. But would like to know what happened to my camera edits? Any idea?
What I suspect happened is that you had the entire multitrack (all clips) selected and pressed 4 on the keyboard, thus changing the camera angle to camera 4 for everything. Camera switching with the keyboard numbers is both a very handy AND a very dangerous feature, if you ask me.
Yes, I think that’s what happened! Occasionally I would right click on the timeline and use the pop up menu to switch cameras.
Is there a key to map to the keyboard that will let you shuttle through all the camera clips? Avid has a Previous/Next in Group.
