I recently got a new laptop (Dell xps 9570) and was excited to get some light editing done on the road. Unfortuanlty I find the audio playback inside of premiere has some pops and crackles (almost like some faint static pops on a lav mic). These crackles are completely random and will change on multiple viewings. They are not present in the video after it's been exported and are not present in the source clips when viewed in VLC. It seems to only affect the playback during editing. I use the exact same version of premiere on my desktop with zero issues so the problem seems to be in reaction to the hardware of my laptop. Any thoughts would be helpful as it is driving me crazy! Thanks!
