Issue editing subclips into a timeline when not including audio
on Feb 27, 2018 at 2:47:43 pm

Hi,

I copied this text from the adobe forum, but since me and my colleagues got the same problem - maybe some of you guys have a solution.

I'm having the problem that subclips (restrict to boundaries un-checked, and not created from merged clips) ignore the in/out points I set in the source monitor when edited into a timeline. So a 6 minute shot with in/out points set 10 frames apart will drop a 6 minute shot in my sequence.

- This only happens on edits where I use insert/overwrite command (either from the keyboard or the on screen buttons) and where I have selected picture only.

- If I include audio in the edit, the in/out points are respected.

- If I drag the clip from the project panel (with or without audio) the in/out points are respected.

OSX 10.13.2
Premiere Pro CC Cersion 12.0.1

Thank you so much!
