Burning Captions Into Video - Problems
on Feb 15, 2018 at 12:50:04 pm

I am having a huge problem. I created a file of captions for my film, which is 25 minutes.

Then I decided to move the captions around, so I made a cut in the 'captions' in the sequence and simply moved that to where I wanted it.

As soon as I did that the captions disappeared. I can see them in the sequence and the video too, but when I try to edit them I can't see them on the 'captions' tab.

I also tried to export the captions as 'open captions' to make sure they burnt into the video because I need it to be seen in the .mov file, but they don't show up. Help!

This doesn't really answer your question but I would load your video into and let them caption it and send you files so you can test it out on your timeline. You can also go back to auto saved project files when it was working.
