Thin white line on bottom of 1:2.39 video

Hi!

I am working on a short film shot for a 1:2.39 ratio. I am using 1920 x 803 pixel. I export to H264.

However, after exporting there is a thin white line on the bottom of the screen when viewed in VLC or uploaded to youtube. This is not the case when viewed in Quicktime.

It seems like they can't handle uneven number in hight and add a white line.

Is there anything I can do about this, besides changing to 1:2.40 (1920 x 800) ?

Thanks,
Bernhard

Not much. The

H.264 codec works with specified set of horizontal & vertical resolutions, and none of those resolutions contain odd numbers.

Never use odd numbers: change sequence setting to 804.
