I'm editing a documentary project in Premiere Pro 2018 and have been dealing with random audio glitches in the Timeline.
The audio clips are all 48000 Hz Wav files and Sequence settings are same.
They sound good played in the Source Monitor. But...after a while random spots in the timeline will all of a sudden have audio glitches - static/degraded audio. It persists even when I mute or solo a track.
And in one case, a duplicated sequence ended up having a phantom audio track - audio from the next clip in the edit was playing during the shot before it as if I had dragged the audio clip's head to cover the earlier shot.
One sequence is just ruined...I had to revert to a previous version. I have found that moving the audio clips into different audio tracks fixes the issue...momentarily/arbitrarily. Not a 100% fix.
My MacBook Pro's Midi Setup is on 48 too so all should be good.
Posting because I haven't found anything similar happening to people...any help!?
