Unwanted zoom-in when applying a transition
on Dec 4, 2017 at 4:54:50 pm

Hi,

I started video editing on premiere about a month ago, and I want to make my creations a bit more professional looking by adding some nice transitions. I have picked-up some transition packs, which use the adjustment layer option: Select x frames before/after transition --> add adjustment layer --> apply the preset.

My issue is that for some reason, the sequence zooms in right before and after the transitions. it goes like this:
Normal sized footage --> instant zoom-in --> Transition --> Instant zoom-out.

Anyone knows what might be the issue? Also note I have made sure that the adjustment layer is the same size as my footage.

Thank you very much in advance!

Some transition packs allow you to edit the transition once you have placed in the sequence. You would access this through the Effects Tab. Check to see if the transition is scaling the clip. Some transitions are made to work in 1920x1080, but if you're editing in 1280x720 it can do strange things.
