Is it possible to view the time code of the mts file imported to PP ?
on Nov 15, 2017 at 6:59:01 am

Hi...

I have mts video file recorded with my Panasonic Handycam.
From the MediaInfo, I can see that the mts has video streams, audio streams and text streams which is the PGS

I can play the file with Media Player Classic - and if in MPC I click the "subtitle" option and choose "PGS", the video show it's date and time of the recording.

I want to have Premiere to also display that date and time all the time, hoping that when I export it to mp4 file, the time code will show in the video as a "burn in" subtitle.

I wonder if I can do this in Premiere ?
If yes, can someone please help me on how to do it ?

Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced, and I'm sorry for my broken English.

The timecode needs to be a timecode track for it to show up. Basic consumer cameras do not write a timecode track but there are programs that can write the time of day information as a timecode. I believe EditReady has that function.
