wrong chroma buffer offset after decode
on Nov 9, 2011 at 10:58:27 am

Hi,
I am using ffmpeg to decoder my H264 stream.
My problem is that in the output yuv - I am seeing that
data[1] != data[0] + (linesize[0] * height)

rather data[1] is data[0] + (linesize[0] * height) + some more offset.

Can somebody tell, why ffmpeg allocates y, u and v pointers separately and not give offset from a big buffer ?

Perhaps your video stream includes VBI?
