AVI file interleave
on Aug 11, 2011 at 12:41:28 pm

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to ffmpeg and I'm trying to record AVI files :
I read packets from an AVI file with av_read_frame function of ffmpeg library and then I write the packets to another file using av_interleaved_write_frame function.
What I don't understand is that when I analyse the content of the file I have created, the packets are not interleaved as in the originate file : the audio frames are located at the beginning of the file and the video frames are recorded after.
Moreover, the new file can only be read by vlc; with windows media player and quick time player, I only get the image without any sound...

Regards,
