Creating video with custom frame size
on Aug 7, 2010 at 3:47:16 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to generate a 3000x500 movie with FFMpeg but I get the following error: Incorrect size.
I'm using the following arguments: -f image2 -i FILE0%d.PNG -r 25 -s wxh OUTPUT.FLV

My question is: how can I generate a FLV movie with a custom frame size (e.g. 3000x500)?

Thanks in advance,
Caio

This worked for me when trying to replicate your issue:

ffmpeg -loop_input -f image2 -i test.png -r 25 -t 20 -s 3000x500 OUTPUT.FLV

This produced a 20 second flv file which was 3000 by 500 in size.

What version of FFmpeg do you have installed? Can you post the full terminal output for more information?

Hi Michael,

I could manage to get the desired output by just suppressing the '-s wxh' on the command line.

Thanks for helping,
Caio
