Rotary Knob Reset suggestions

I have a suggestion about the control knobs on the 2450 (and I presume on other models as well). I find that the simple push to reset the knob's current setting to be too easily reset by accident. Is it possible to reprogram by firmware so that the knobs can only be reset by pushing it down for 2 or 3 seconds?

Thank you for the suggestion. It is honestly the first time we have heard this request. Many people actually gave us feedback that they loved the fast response of these buttons, after all that's why they are there for: a simple push and you're back in the "zero" position (if not you could just turn it back to the mid position). 2-3 seconds seems very long to me.

I would be very interested in having other peoples' opinion on this too. If more people see this as an issue we could eventually add a "delay" function on these push buttons, but it would need to be selectable.

Yea, I could see how other folks would like the quick reset. I remember the old knobs on production mixers where you can "lock" the setting by pushing the knob all the way down and the knob was in the down position and you couldn't adjust the settings. You had to push the knob again to release it and it popped back up and then you could adjust it. I've always liked that. I though some production monitors had that in the past.

As for me, it would help me out to have a delayed reset cuz I could see my asst editor or producer bump into it and not know where it was set to originally. Of course, not a huge deal to recalibrate it.

But so far, the 2450 has been great!
