Just wondering if anyone has the 50inch Flanders LCD monitor. I'm looking for a new monitor for the colour suite, and would like to go with a 50 inch for clients sitting behind me. Unfortunately, you have to buy it to see if it suits your needs, as there are no resellers that can provide a demo. (I'm up in Canada, which makes it even harder)
Just looking for opinions of those that have seen it or preferably own one.
Freelancing must be treating you well if you're looking into a 50" FSI. :)
I have a puny 17" FSI in my home suite. I can definately vouch for that monitor and the company. Love the lifetime "ship it back and calibrate for free" offer. And even though my monitor is discontinued they still support it with regular firmware updates.

Not the independent third party feedback you are looking for, but if you are using the CM500TD for television or web deliverables it should meet your needs. I would not suggest it if the bulk of your content will be digital cinema deliverables, the CM240, CM250, and CM172 are all better options for that type of work.
Not sure what your timeframe is looking like, but we do plan on doing a couple of demo tours through various parts of Canada this summer. Probably Vancouver first, but we hope to get one or a couple of our sales people around to most major markets in Canada through the summer.
