I edit and deliver finished shows for broadcast, but i am not a grading suite. I color correct where necessary, but most of my material is studio shot and engineered. Most of our material is Prores 720P60 but we might be moving to 1080i next year. Don't care at all about 3D or 4K. Coming from a MacPro / Blackmagic Decklink Card / HD-SDI signal -- is the 2140W good enough or is it necessary to get a true "reference" monitor?

Hi Herb, while we have never really marketed the LM-2140W as a dedicated color grading monitor we have a lot of facilities, including network clients and people doing work for networks, that use the LM-2140W for what I would call 'light-duty color correction' and find that it is more than sufficient for such work. Specifically if all of your work is destined for television distribution (not film out, DCI, etc.) then this may be all you need.
