We are leaning heavily toward purchasing the 1760WF for use as a studio and field confidence monitor. Our only concern is how 1080p material will display as we color correct in studio since the monitor is only 1366x768.

I realize that it won't look as good as a native 1920x1080 display, but I am curious about customer's experiences when using it for 1080p projects. Is it fuzzy? Are there jagged edges?

Hi Keith, have you thought about the 21.5" LM-2140W for about the same price? That unit is 1920x1080, looks very similar to the 1760W in terms of color reproduction, and also has 3Gbps SDI inputs as standard equipment. If that does not work for you I can tell you that scaling down form 1080 to 1366x768 provides a very sharp image. Upscaling is where you have the bigger risk of a softer image, downscaling tends to produce quite sharp images. Also, keep in mind that all FSI units have the ability to view any portion of a signal in 1:1 scaling mode so you can always double check the native resolution image if you have a concern about a particular shot/scene.
