question about H/V delay
on Dec 20, 2009 at 8:02:58 pm

hi there.

i have never used a FSI before. so does the FSI bring up all info which can be there in the blanking when switched to H/V delay. i have been suprised before by monitors not showing ancillary data as a picture before.

great

Hi Maurice. As far as I know everything in the VBI is shown on screen properly when in H/V Delay mode. If you have a concern about a particular type of ancillary data let me know what it is and we can probably have one of our engineers test to confirm for you, but we've to this date not run across any scenario where expected ancillary data was not shown as expected.

thanks bram

nothing in particular. i often use it as fast check if something isn.t blanked a way by a deck or something. i found out some other monitors just blanked out everything.

thanks again

greet
Maurice
