Skin tones issues

Hi.

I'm a little concerned about the skin tones that I'm getting from my DSLR.
I shoot with the CineStyle colour profile then use the CineStyle S Curve LUT to get the colour and contrast back.

My problem is that the skin tones don't show much colour when I look at the Vectorscope. This seems to happen a lot despite ensuring I white balance and light as well as I can.

Here's an example, basically I'm asking if the below image is an "acceptable" skin tone for a natural look?

Here's the image with the Garbage Matte applied:

And here it is without the Matte:

Thanks for any advice anyone can offer

Stuart.

Your talent is standing quite close to the blue wall, which is - at least that's how I see it - creating a bit of a blue spill, that sort of "neutralizes" the skintones (shifting everything into blue)...
If you look at the vectorscope, the skintone level is very close to the "11 o'clock skintone line" so I wouldn't bother too much. Shifting the highlights slightly to orange and maybe increasing saturation a bit, might do the trick...

Just my two cents
