So I shot this all on 5D, edited it with premiere and did all the post effects with cinema 4d and AE. It's played at festivals across the country and I decided to put it on youtube. Would love to get feedback!

Thanks!

What you have here is the most important element for making a good film, a great little script. When I first clicked on the link I thought "Can I watch 24 minutes online?", but I did and it kept my attention right to the end and I loved it.

There's a few little things, wrong eyeline in the coffee ordering scene and some odd choices of focus at times (always difficult on a 5D), but generally very very good. You've obviously planned the shooting thoroughly, it's been well shot and care has been taken to ensure often neglected such like audio are of a high standard.

The reality is you could have shot this story on any camera, edited on any software and it would have still turned out a great little film because it has the most important essential, a good story.

Well done.

Wow, thanks so much! It's nice to get feedback like that :-) It was quite the undertaking, if I could somehow get a crew I think the idea could be turned into a feature, but I was largely a 1 man band wth no budget so I did what I could. I agree about the focus issues, I was still getting used to the follow focus that i had and it was often hard to get a good read out of the lcd on the back of the camera. To be honest I hadnt caught the eyeline problem in the cafe, I hope it wasnt too distracting. I put a lot into making this, please share the link with people if you liked it! :-)
