Ive spent a while googleing and am getting close not not quite there. It looks like Canon do a 'E1' plugin for some of there DSLRs to allow Log & Transfer to work with DSLR files. It is not supported for 550D but it looks like there is a workaround. Anyone know where there is any end-to-end instructions as to how to get this working or an I going the wrong route(I know I could use compressor but that's another story).

He wants to know about all kinds of things: ancient history, nineteenth-century mathematics, current manufacturing techniques, flower arranging, and hog futures. Because he never knows when these ideas might come together to form a new idea. It may happen six minutes later or six months, or six years down the road. But he has faith that it will happen." -- Carl Ally
