Visually not so much but 4444 is quite a higher bitrate that is way overkill for 7D footage. Going to require a lot more and faster hard drives to edit. I'd go back and re-compress to ProResHQ if it's a lot of footage. If it's a little you'll probably be fine.
NOt only is 444 overkill, it damages the image. Any time someone transcodes 5D or 7D to 444, my luminence hits a ceiling of 98 when i color correct. It won't go above. And the floor is 0 IRE. This might be fine for broadcast work, but not everything is broadcast...and when color correcting, you want to push beyond those limits anyway.
