which handheld steadicam is best for my Lumix GH2?

Hi guys,

I have a Panasonic Lumix GH2 and I’m looking for some advice on what small handheld steadicam would be best for me? Here’s a few that i’ve narrowed my search down to:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STEADICAM-DSLR-DIGITAL-CAMERA-MONOPOD-STABILIZER-...

or the same steadicam off their website http://www.smoothshot.co.uk

or this one from china:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEEWER-Handy-Steadicam-Video-Stabilizer-for-Camer...

or finally this one:

http://www.b-hague.co.uk/hague_dslr_motion_cam_camera_steadicam_stabilizer....

I’m a novice with this type of stuff! Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi Joe - apologies - it's been a few weeks since you posted this, but I didn't see your question until now.

In this price range, I recommend the £34 Flycam Flyboy III from Proaim in India.

Here is a how-to on balancing and a few examples of what this stabilizer can do:

I have bought ProAim/CineCity stabilizers from India in the past and they are very well made and a very good value for the money.

Hope this is helpful and good luck with your decision!
