Totally agree a bunch of pretty smart guys! Gary Adcock who is featured in the video is a fellow COW moderator and was also the tech editor for my new book - a top notch guy

Totally well done and funny. A textbook example of these sorts of things done properly.

I wish they included a transcript, so I didn't have to watch the video to get to whatever conclusions or sample images were buried inside it. I got bored by the over the top title sequence.

Was there eventually any interesting information in this or was it all just silly eyewash?

The best way to find out about it's content is to watch it all the way through. I do recommend doing this.

If in doubt scream and shout.

Yeah the basic conclusion was DSLRs are not as good as film but they more than hold their own especially given their price point. Which of course is not really news to anyone who already owns a camera. Thus as Robbie says the only way you'll actually get something out of that video is to actually watch it. You can definitely skip over the first 6 or so minutes which is intros and prefaces. Then the more meaty stuff begins.
