This is a major update, especially for Enterprise edition users. From the release notes:
Enterprise server preferences now store user fields and picklist values in a seperate field definition set object that can be shared between production groups.
User fields can now be locked so only specified users can edit the field.
Pick list values can now be edited by specified users without requiring admin priviliges to edit other preference settings (though individidual pick list fields can be fixed to prevent new values being added).
There are two new permissions "Edit locked fields" and "Edit picklist values" to control the preceding functionality, as well as separate control over deleting ones own or other people's clips and catalogs.
The new 'Logged By' field shows which user owns a clip.
Pick list changes are automatically propagated to other users when polling the server.
Improved display of iTunes metadata.
Added support for common camera RAW files (including CR2, NEF, DNG, MOS, etc.) and common Exif MakerNotes formats.
Display timecode from Premiere AVI files.
Minor fixes to the PDF importer.
When choosing fields (eg. for the grouping panel) they are now colour-coded to distinguish user-defined and built-in fields
Added support for FCP 'angle' field.
Improvements to the Status History field
Improvements to the Re-analyse Media command.
Fixes to the Publish Changes command, in particular when saving metaclips to the server.
The 'New subclip' command now prompts for a clip name (and other fields).
