Removing a proxy after rejection
on Feb 22, 2013 at 5:31:30 pm

I'm trying to figure out how to make the worker node remove the proxy file that was created if the Approval Status is marked as rejected.
I know how to do everything up until the file removal piece.

Any help is appreciated.

This would best be done with a shell script.

I'd recommend that you move the proxy first to a staging location and then delete after a week or so, just to be sure. Unless it can be quickly recreated.

Note, an incorrect "rm" command can delete all of the files on your filesystem. Handle with care.

If you are not conversant with the shell, contact your dealer or look for a kid with a pocket protector.

So there is no way to do this with the Worker Node directly?

You can build an expression involving variables that will give you the path to your proxy file, then execute a command to delete that file (/bin/rm on Mac OS X, or DEL on Windows). Test it using the echo command first.
