We're slowly making the shift from using InqScribe for our transcriptions and paper edits, and hopefully using Verbatim Logger and Cat DV to assemble scripts.
One aspect of InqScribe that we use is to add the reel of the clip as a prefix to the timecode, so my question has two parts.
1. Can we copy and paste transcriptions from InqScribe (with the reel prefix) into Verbatim logger, keeping the ability to click on time codes to navigate to certain transcript points? I should note that the timecode sits on the same line as what is logged e.g.
[REEL NAME 10:37:15:23] Rolf: Cat DV will go along way replacing InqScribe - rather than -
[REEL NAME 10:37:15:23]
Rolf: Cat DV will go along way replacing InqScribe
(Nb. we also use square brackets)
With tests I know I can remove the brackets, prefix and move the timecode to the next line, but it's time consuming and means we lose detail (reel) that we want to keep so that we can copy and paste into Word for paper scripts.
2. Can we add a Prefix to the timecode (event marker) of the reel name for all work done in Cat DV?
