Looks like B&H are shipping both the Micro and Mini panels. Does anyone have any experience on these new offerings?
I have been a fan of the Wave for years now. My original purchase from 2013 is still going strong and I have grown so accustomed to it that I am hesitant to upgrade. Sure I have to use the GUI a lot but I guess I've grown used to that as well while utilizing a Waacom to reduce repetitive stress injuries I had sustained on 2K panels and with copious mouse clicks.
I applaud BMD's release of these options for us. Anxious to hear any feedback.
I have not touched one of these panels yet but I would buy the Micro in a flash if it had the add nodes options.
The Mini is just that little bit overkill for me but looks stunning. I've had my Wave for over 5 years and still love working with it. The fact that Tangent panels work with other apps is a huge plus for me as I also take a Ripple with me when freelancing out of house. If Tangent made a slightly sturdier, slightly smaller panel with all the functions it has and maybe a little more I'd have one.
