Did I get it right that it has a totally new interface, again? Which means we will have to relearn everything over?

None of the interface updates have required you to "relearn everything over", the last time they rewrote the interface (4 years ago?) it was largely the same, but reimplemented and improved. Most stuff worked basically the same way. I expect this to be the same way.

No need to wonder what it looks like. The videos on this page show a very familiar if slightly improved UI. Doesn't look like a big learning curve if you are currently using it.

One new thing that excites is the Lightbox for copying a grade to multiple shots. Also using metadata for showing like shots.

It looks like the redesigned UI support the super high resolution monitor, improved fonts and maybe the ability to tweak the layout to suit the user desires (like any of the NLEs)

Peter, that sounds fantastic :)
I am very very much looking forward to it.
I have no idea where your team finds the energy to come up with all those ideas and make em work in that short period but i am utterly grateful .

Cheers

I hope this really means "recommended" minimum requirements?

All fine and dandy... where is it? They said July... and here we are half way through July. I certainly hope it isn't July 31st...
