HDRx not working in Resolve 10 Lite

I'm trying to recover some highlights in an HDR shot in Resolve, but it simply isn't working for me. When creating another source and connecting that source through a corrector node and then through a layer mixer node, everything coming out of that second source is identical to what's coming out of the first source. In red cine x the highlights can be recovered just fine but even toying with "blend type" and "blend bias" in resolve appears to do nothing.

Even connecting the second source which should contain the "x" frame straight to a connector node and straight to the output gives me only the "a" frame. Am I missing something required to get the second source to read the underexposed frame?

I remember doing this just fine in resolve 9 a while ago as well, which is curious that it's not working in 10 for some reason. Anyone else ever have the same problem?

Yes, I'm having the exact same problem right now in Resolve 10.1.4 Lite. Can't figure out a way around it. Like you, I checked out the clip in RedCine-X Pro and it looks fine. I can see the A and X frames and the difference in exposure. But Resolve doesn't seem to be recognizing them in the node structure. On my timeline, I see that Resolve lists them as "RED HDRx" so it's recognizing them as such there, but not in the nodes / output.

Would appreciate any help or workaround.

I found a workaround. After looking in the Blackmagic Resolve forum, I found this.

http://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=20265&p=125655&hilit...

I went into "Project Settings..." and turned off "Use GPU for RED Debayer". You'll need to restart Resolve. I then ended up having to delete the clip from my resolve timeline and adding it back. Now Resolve picks up the A and X frames when using the Layer node structure.

Hope this helps.

This issue is supposed to be fixed in 10.1.5.
