Project management, option for database?
on Nov 28, 2013 at 9:27:49 pm

I have been a user of database-style project management with Davinci. Is it possible to change that behaviour to project-based management, and how? I'm not sleeping my nights very well after having a project that I was working on "magically" disappear from my database. After that I'm doing a lot of project exports to .drp, but it's just not very convinient to do it every half an hour.

You want to use a disk based project? Just create new database and select disk type. Set the location, and name, etc. Then use that.

Does that option save the projects as separate .drp files?

No. It creates a filesystem database folder. There's no way for resolve to use drps as a project format.

Ok. That still feels like a good option to have a database folder. Thanks.
