zooming in with tracker
on Jul 25, 2013 at 8:21:16 am

sorry for such a basic question.

how do i zoom in on a tracked face?

i have footage of a crowd of runners in the finish. i want to focus on one person and zoom in on him. i tracked him. but how do i "zoom in" on the tracking window (= his face) and get this centered?

thanks

mouse wheel for zoom, middle mouse button for pan / tilt. Yes, you'll need a 3 button mouse with wheel for resolve.

i think he meant the way you do with like in AE stabilise on some point of interest and zoom in a bit then to it.

In theory it should be doable. Lets say you stabilise x and y only and later add zoom on top of it.

I have not tried to do this like that as i use external apps for that mostly.

someone can chime in if they have used like that.

stablize first, then add / keyframe input sizing to suit your needs.
