Moving Black and White Point Horizontally in Curves UI

So feature I use a lot in Apple Color is moving the base black and white points of the curves in the various individual color channels. I've noticed in Resolve that you can only move them vertically and not horizontally, as opposed to Color, where you can (see the included image). What operation would produce the equivalent of this in Resolve, and/or why is the horizontal axis restricted? I know there's the "intensity slider along with the vertical slider which compresses that channel, but neither of those seem to achieve what I'm looking for. Am I an idiot, am I missing something?

Apple Color example:

Thanks,
Geoff

The behavior you are looking for doesn't have an exact corollary in Resolve. The color UI in modifying the curves in that way is basically doing lift and gain adjustments. These are the equivalent controls in resolve.

When you move the bottom point right you are essentially lifting the image. Moving the top point left, acts as lowering the gain.

Hope that helps.
