Hey guys,

Does anybody if you can create the technicolor 2 (or 3) strip look in Resolve.

And if so, how?

Thanks!

This is quite a dark atmosphere.
LUT is used, which can be downloaded from:

I am indeed looking for something more like aviator, something I can build wth nodes in Resolve, allthough every suggestion is always welvome!

Do you know how to build one Sasha?

Inspired by this and waiting for a DCP to wrap up. I gave it a shot. I have a fairly good two strip... three strip is still a work in progress. I'll see about posting a tut soon.

While waiting for a good example, I suddenly remembered that I like the plugin that Speedgrade has for this look. To my surprise I found out that all speedgrade looks can be exported at LUT's. So I imorted the technicolor looks into Resolve and here's the result.

Ofcourse, I wasn't looking for a LUT, but now that I see it, it does look very good to me.

here's a basic little grade I did before even putting the LUT:

Here's the 2 strip technicolor version:

And here's the 3 strip (or fake tan version:):

Nice look. I've tried loading the LUT's from Speedgrade without success. How did you go about loading them? Were they from CS6 or the Iridas version?
Thanks man,

They came from cs6 version.

In the looks tab you can click a little 'e' button on each look. This generates a few files of which at least one is readable in resolve. You need to put the files in the same folder where the other resolve luts are and then they show up in resolve.

Good luck!

Hi Pepijn, is there any chance you can share those LUTs? I don't have Speedgrade so I can't get them.

Thanks!

Cam
