I am suspicious Resolve 9 b2 just messed up my HDDs

So I was working on a davinci resolve project in v9.b2 and tried to add some new media into a project. I pointed it to a Hdd where I keep the media and it hang and would not recover. So I had windows to exit the resolve forcefully and restarted the computer.
When it booted up I had non of my user accounts and all of the hard drives other then Os hard drive were gone.

I went into the disk management and it showed all of my hard drives as uninitialized and raw.

I had to run the partition recovery Sw to restore my HDDs. Upon doing so I decided to ruin the antivirus and it informed me about the registry entries being hidden. When I went to see what those entries were all of them were Postgres user accounts. I have never had my antivirus report those before even though I had resolve running on this computer since last December.
The only software I am aware of I had installed onto my computer that uses Postgres was Resolve.

My logic is:
1. I am trying to access an HDD in resolve.
2. Resolve hangs.
3. Restart
4. No HDDs present in the system, prompting the partition restoration session.
5. Registry entries pertaining to Postgres and by proxy to Resolve are bothering my antivirus software.
6. ?
7. Profit
Was iit a coincidence? I do not like thoseā€¦
At this point I am terrified to start up the Resolve again.

Is the drive working now that you pointed last ?

I have seen this on win machine as one media drive was a bit not that healthy
then all crashed and lagged etc.

After removing faulty drive all things started to work again.

p.s. always have clone of your system drive before altering solid working configuration!!!

So, upon further investigation it seems that crush was caused by QTdecoder and DPDdecoder struggling to make sense of an mxf file in a folder I was trying to reach.
What bothers me is that the entire system got compromised and the GPT tables on the HDDs destroyed somehow. How bizarre. Other softwares say "Cannot read file, format not recognized" - Resolve hangs and destroys GPT
I am going to write it off as a beta bug.

Perhaps you're confusing the cause-effect relationship here. Maybe it wasn't resolve crashing that caused the drive to hang, but rather drive hangin that caused resolve to crash.

Perhaps. However is highly peculiar that the only hard drives that failed and got the GPT destroyed were those and only those assigned in Resolve and no other ones even though they were at the time connected to the PC. Also two of them were on the raid controller card and one on the motherboard sata connection. So far the only common denominator is Resolve.
All I am saying there is a possible bug. I understand that this is a beta.

It is possible that one failed and writing on all of them got affected?
