Updates: Full retina support and FCP X 10.0.6 bug fixes
on Nov 20, 2012 at 1:27:03 am

Minor updates now available, fixes a problem copy/pasting effects in FCP X 10.0.6. Shape masks now display correctly on Retina displays in both SliceX and in CoreMelt V2 plugins and we made the user interface for Lock & Load also nicer on Retina Macbook pros.

http://www.coremelt.com/support/24-documentation/125-notes-for-fcp-x-1006.h...

If you see any problems in FCP X 10.0.6, please make sure you have these versions installed then contact us if you still have an issue.

Hello,
you can see the SliceX effects in the effects browser in "C2 SliceX" category and under titles in the "C2 SliceX Adjust" category.
Did the crash occur after you've applied one of the SliceX effects?

Regards, Eberhard

Thank you for the reply. Let me give you the case history so you understand. I purchase the product today. After downloading i played around and all went crazy. Which was my fault as i did not register the product.
Then i found the controls in my browser. Did the registering and downloaded the update version from SliceX web page.
Got a bit of footage from my event and loaded it on the time line, clicked on an effect moved it to the timeline and all hell is breaking loose. Beachball-clicking on the tools goes slow and then green lines appear were i did not put the mouse cursor and then a automatic shut down from FCP-X.
Do i need to wait until the video clip is rendered in the timeline before applying an effect.
I'm a complete novice to fathom out the ins and out.
I would like to use this software. So any feedback would be great.
Thank you.

This is not regular behavior of SliceX, also when it's not registered or FCP X is rendering when you apply an effect. Can you please send the crash log to me: eberhard (at) coremelt.com

I have sent a Crash report to Roger and i sent you one. Is it possible to communicate via a iChat link and then you can see what you are looking for.
I'm being ask to look in "System Report" which word which i dont have. I see on my hard drive the crash logs on FCP-X which i sent.
I think my computer is not compatible for your software. If so could i have a refund?. I would like to keep the software if it can be fixed.
All these e-mails is going to take up time for you and me. So once again a VIVEO LINK would do the job????

I still didn't get a complete crash log. Can you please send one, otherwise I can't see what's going wrong?
Also, what is your computer model, and what's the OS version?

Eberhard
