L&L rendering Vs. smoothcam

Installed, tested, it works great. A big question though, do I have to render the clip every time?
smoothcam doesn't need that. If I change my zoom a bit I can see it right away. This way I lose most of the gain in my editing process. Or is this just a limitation for the trial version?
I'm ready to buy it but this could be the showstopper.
Let me know if I do something wrong.
Thanks
Gabriele

Hi, lock and load can preview in realtime if you have your timeline set to UnlimitedRT. You should get an orange bar on the timeline and then be able to see the result of Lock & Load playing in in realtime.

Likewise, when dragging a parameter you should see the change to the image updating as you drag the slider.

You can turn on "Unlimited RT" from the RT tab on the top left of your timeline.

Please try that.

Hello,

what are your sequence settings, and what is the codec of your source video?

Regards,
Eberhard

Hi Eberhard

I am using safe Rt, and I am using Sony HD Z7, sorry for not being very helpful with details, I am not techy at all.

Thanks for such a fast reply,
Roxana B-B

Hello Roxana,

unlimited RT is alright, but the actual frame rate may depends on several settings and your computer's hardware. Do you see an orange line above the clip in unlimited RT?
Could you send a screen shot of your sequence settings?

Eberhard
