Hello all,

Is there a way to do a global tracking or global search on a timeline so all click with the L+L plugin show up?

Micheal

Hello, I'm not sure what you mean.

Sorry for confusion... here's some more info..

I edit in two places... at school I have all my original ProRes HQ files. I also edit at home with a set of files in ProRes (Proxy) that I keep on a portable firewire drive.

If I'm working at school and I add the L+L filter to a clip and click "tracking" and everything works great. However, when I take the FCP file home and reconnect to my proxy files it appears that the tracking info is not there (unless I am doing something wrong).

If that case, I have to click on every clip to see if I have a L+L filter on it and redo the tracking. This can get tedious. So I was wondering if there was a way to "globally" redo the tracking info.

Cheers,

Micheal

This is not possible as FCP requires that clips are brought to front to let plugins read the clip's frames.
So you can re-track the clips only one after another.
Regards, Eberhard
