There is nothing particular to consider for a specific video format.
Lock & Load will correctly account for the aspect ratio and field order of the clip as specified in FCP.
If you ask for best Lock & Load parameter settings, they depend on the motion in the clip.
Please consult the documentation for some suggestions.

Regards, Eberhard

I've been experimenting with different approaches and results are consistent it's tweaking the parameters that matter. other than that LOCL & LOAD does a great job. Stabilizing used to be a UGH! chore...not anymore,

if you mean best way to shoot, then if you know the footage will be shaky best you can do is to use the fastest shutter setting you can and increase ISO or aperture instead. Lock & Load smooths motion but it can't remove motion blur from a clip, so shoot with a fast shutter and you'll have less blur after stabilizing.

Lock & load can also track more reliably on clips shot with fast shutter which have less motion blur.

I forgot to mention I was using a videocamera. Canon XH-A1. Thanks for responding.
