I’m using CoreMelt Clone Layer in Final Cut Pro 7 to remove a mic from the subject's lapel. It opens up in Motion 4. Thus far, I am making amazing progress. Of course the work is tedious as it is a few minutes of footage. When there is movement, such as the camera zooms in or pans, it is little bit difficult to track.
My issue is how do I contend with another object in the footage that shows behind the layer as though a mirror. I have keyframed other instances. But in this case the hands rise and are seen through the layer. I do not have room to move the layer away from the quick movement. Any suggestions?
Also, would any of the tools be able to lock in on the track point of the target so that it doesn’t veer away from what you want to remove?
