Stabilizing large number of multiple clips with Lock & Load
on Dec 16, 2014 at 5:15:32 am

I'm using Lock & Load for Premiere Pro CC (Mac) and I'm wondering if it's possible to track the motion of multiple clips without having to individually track the motion of every clip.

Currently I have to go into the effect settings of each individual clip (I have 100s of clips) and click Track Motion, and then wait 5-10 minutes each time. Is there a way I can do this in bulk, perhaps?

I've tried applying Lock & Load to the entire sequence and choosing Stabilization Mode: "Smooth, Multi Shot". But it still results in very wacky zooms and pans that ruin all the clips.

I could try to restrict the zoom and smoothing to make this usable, but it would be great if there was a way to batch track motion.

Anyone else have a better approach or suggestion?

Thanks!

Nathan
